TBHC has been caring for kids for over 100 years. We specialize in foster care and adoption. May is Foster Care Awareness Month. This month is important to remember and bring attention to the work of our foster care department.

TBHC cared for 299 foster kids this past year. We work hard to meet our kid’s emotional and physical needs. Our highly trained foster parents provide for the needs of foster kids, and they have support from case managers, therapists, and support groups to make sure they are also able to be the best they can be for the kids.

Even though foster care during COVID-19 has changed some of the ways we care for families and children, it has not changed our quality of care.

Here is are some ways you can participate in Foster Care Awareness Month with TBHC.

  1. Like and share posts from our social media @TBHCfosteradopt. This month we will have information coming every week about foster care and TBHC.
  2. Donate on May 5th to our Giving Tuesday Now campaign. All non-profits are joining together this day to bring awareness to current needs due to COVID-19
  3. Join us for an online information meeting about the first steps to start the foster care journey. There are multiple online meetings in May. All dates are on our social media and events page on this website.
