Permian Basin Gives started in 2020 during one of the hardest times for non-profits. Giving Days raises awareness of nonprofits’ needs and provides opportunities for individuals to make a bigger impact.
Now that TBHC has been in the Permian Basin for over a year now, we are settled in and ready for action! There is a foster care crisis in West Texas, with more than 89% of foster children having to move outside of their hometowns. TBHC wants to help bring change to this region! We are working with the Child Welfare System to train and license more foster parents, so more foster kids have a place to stay within the Permian Basin.
