The seconds dragged by.

The instructions said 1–5 minutes, but for Jenna, it felt like a lifetime. Her hands trembled as she picked up the test stick.

Positive.

Her heart caught in her throat. This couldn’t be happening. She wasn’t ready to raise a child. Motherhood had never crossed her mind.

Meanwhile, John and Megan were waiting and hoping. They had dreamed of becoming parents for so long. As the months passed with no word, hope started to fade.

After much thought and prayer, Jenna made the courageous decision to choose life and adoption for her child. She moved into Abba’s Heart, a ministry of TBHC where she received support for groceries, transportation, counseling, and loving guidance through every step of her pregnancy and adoption plan.

At her first sonogram appointment, the technician paused.

“There are two heartbeats,” she said. “You’re having twins. Twin boys.”

Tears filled Jenna’s eyes. What a miracle she was carrying. What an incredible gift she would be giving.

One afternoon, Megan felt that familiar spark of anticipation as her phone rang. She checked the caller ID. Her heart leapt. A young mother had chosen them.

The match meeting was filled with emotion. The connection between Jenna and the couple she had chosen was instant. They talked about their hopes for the boys. Jenna wanted to stay involved. John and Megan wanted the boys to grow up knowing the woman who had chosen life for them.

Over the next several months, their relationship grew. TBHC continued to walk with Jenna, helping her prepare for life after delivery and secure housing closer to her family.

The babies came sooner than expected, spending some time in the NICU. But soon, John and Megan brought home two healthy, thriving boys.

And the story didn’t end there.

TBHC brought Jenna to visit, where she held and fed the babies, laughed with John and Megan, and took photos of their time together. It was a moment filled with peace, grace, and profound love.

Since the boys’ birth, Jenna has started a new job and is taking steady steps toward a hopeful future. She treasures the photos she receives regularly and loves watching the boys grow.

Through it all, God’s hand has been evident—in Jenna’s courage, in John and Megan’s answered prayers, and in the sacred lives of two little boys who are deeply loved.
